This fine example of a Breton carved bookcase is offered in very good condition.
The bookcase has ornate carvings to the front, sides, cornice and base.
The cabinet comprises of a base with two fitted drawers, carved mouldings and oak bun feet.
The carved sides have floral designs, there are two turned and fluted columns either side of the glazed doors.
The doors have carved figures in the bottom panels with spindle wheel designs to the top.
The doors retains their original glass with bubbles and flaws in the antique glass,a lovely feature.
The cornice has carved dragons in the front panel and an ornate pediment with spindles and turned finials that completes this lovely item.
There are three original oak shelves, more can be supplied if required.
The bookcase dismantles for ease of transportation and delivery.
