Very fine, Victorian solid silver Vesta case. This case has a most attractive unusual ''ribbed'' design. It is hinged and closes with a nice firm click. There is a good sized loop at the top. Clear hallmarks are visible on the inside lip under the lid: Birmingham 1897. There are also hallmarks on one side of the case.
