A very rare, solid silver, baby spoon, beautifully depicting the nursery rhyme ''Hey Diddle Diddle'' with the characters of the rhyme embossed in the silver, including the cat and the fiddle, the little dog and the dish running off with the spoon! An unusual looped over handle, adds to the charming aesthetics of this item. Very clear hallmarks are visible on the back of the spoon: Birmingham 1914, along with the maker''s marks: Levi & Salaman.
Condition: This spoon is in excellent used condition. The embossing on the silver is clear and not worn.
