Unusual Edwardian Silver Sovereign Case Birmingham 1908

An unusual, Edwardian, solid silver Sovereign Case. Circular in shape, the case opens nicely with a spring action mechanism, operated by pressing a small button that sits on the top of the case. The inside reveals a place to store 3 - 4 sovereigns (see photographs). Clear hallmarks are visible on the inside of the case: Birmingham 1908. The case closes with a nice firm click.

Condition: This sovereign case is in great used condition. the spring loaded mechanism for opening and closing works perfectly. There are no dents to the silver.
