Description

very handsome mahogany breakfront bookcase.

the flared cornice has an architectural pediment, pierced detail and dentil mouldings with blind fret frieze below.

the top with four astragal glazed doors opening to fabric lined interior with fully adjustable shelves, the four door base with blind fret banding detail enclosing shelved interiors, raised on shaped, carved bracket feet.

with marks / scuffs commensurate with age and use, this wonderful bookcase is in overall good sound condition with a very pleasing colour and patina.
