This splendid piece has an inverted breakfront moulded castellated cornice, above two glazed doors with spectacular scrolled floral carvings and quality carved corbels. The interior has three adjustable shelves and key with working lock. The lower section has an inverted moulded top above a deep secretaire drawer. The interior comprises of a central cupboard door and seven small drawers and pigeon holes. Below are three beautifully figured cock beaded drawers with beautifully turned handles and the whole piece stands on turned bun feet. It also splits into two sections for easy removal and the mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
