Silver Animal Decoration Cream Jug Birmingham 1895

A very fine, solid silver cream jug, elegantly embossed with animal & bird countryside scenes. It is beautifully shaped and sits on three ornate ‘lion’s head’ feet. The rim of the jug is pleasantly scalloped. Clear hallmarks and maker’s marks are visible near the handle of the jug: Birmingham 1895, George Nathan & Ridley Hayes.

This cream jug is in excellent used condition although the handle is a little off centre.

Weight: 178.35 grams approx.
