The interior comprises of three adjustable shelves and the lower section has a beautifully figured top above two beautifully figured doors with key with working lock. The interior is unique due to there being three sliding linen trays which are ideal for storage. This super bookcase is full of the charm and character that you would expect to find from a true antique and the piece stands on a plain plinth. The mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
