Mid C19th Victorian period glazed-top 2-door oak library bookcase . Clean example in "golden" oak colour , with gently-arched glazed 2-door top, over 2-door panelled base . The upper glazed section fitted with 4 adjustable 'ladder-rack ' shelves with original gilt-tooled Morocco leather edges. The 2-door base fitted with 2 'flush' frieze drawers , the twin panelled doors with moulded surrounds and conforming gently-arched panels , 2 fixed shelves to the interior.

The whole carcass of rounded corner construction . Moulded rounded-corner stepped cornice with conforming plinth base.

Splits into 3 sections in conventional manner, for ease of transportation .

Good clean condition and pleasing golden colour . Original glass.
