Georgian Silver Shell Caddy Spoon by P&a Bateman , London 1797.Njl10390

Description

A Sublime Georgian, solid silver Caddy Spoon. This wonderful spoon is designed in the shape of a scallop shell and has a very prettily engraved, unusually shaped handle, with initials: 'E.B'.

On the back of the handle are the clear and crisp maker's marks for the renown makers P & A Bateman and the hallmarks: London 1797. A wonderful spoon!

Condition: This caddy spoon is in great condition with no dents or dings to the silver.

Hallmarks: London 1797

Maker's Marks: P & A Bateman

Measurements: 6.4cm x 4.0cm approx
