Victorian Walnut, Mahogany and Satinwood Cabinet Bookcase

Description

Circa 1880, exhibition quality walnut, mahogany and satinwood 4 door cabinet bookcase, the moulded cornice with egg and dart beading, Greek key, and carved acanthus leaves above glazed doors with carved astragals enclosing adjustable shelves which are lined with fabric. On the base there are 4 doors with fielded panels with quarter veneered wood framed with rosewood and chequered satinwood and ebony inlay, all standing on squat bracket feet. Neat size and wonderful colour and condition. Could be used as a bookcase or display cabinet.
