The fluted design and the elegant shape of this Victorian. solid silver mustard pot make it particularly attractive and collectible. The lid is hinged at the back and opens to reveal the original blue glass interior (which is also fluted to match the shape of the pot). It has a lovely curved handle which enhances the design. Clear hallmarks are visible on the inside of the lid: Chester 1896. Maker's marks : Nathan & Hayes can be seen on the side of the pot (along with further hallmarks which are slightly worn although still visible).

Condition: The mustard pot is in great overall condition. The original blue interior glass has not chips whatsoever.
