Description

This is a very fine solid silver, helmet form cream jug bearing hallmarks for Chester 1934 and the maker's mark of S. Blanckensee & Sons. It has a strap form handle with acanthus leaf design. The simple early 20th century design makes this jug very elegant.

 

Measurements: 8.0 x 9.6 x 4.9 cms approx.

Weight: 64.85 grams approx.

 

CONDITION (see photos):

In very good condition commensurate with age. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
