Stunning large antique 19th century bronze depicting a seated Putti on a nice inlaid wood base featuring a landscape scene, c1870. The bronze statue is designed to be removed from the base and is beautifully cast and modelled. It is incredibly heavy for its size - over 4 kgs and has aged well with great patina. This is a fine quality bronze but I cannot find a signature.Overall condition is good, The bronze has not been over polished and presents very well.
