Fine quality oval onyx marble ink-stand with ormolu bronze mounts. Central 8'' ormolu bronze figure of ''Diane de Gabies'' ,after the marble antique discovery now exhibited in the Louvre ,Paris . Fitted with twin cast ormolu ink-wells with hinged tops and ''flambeau'' finials .The cream oval onyx stone base with ovoid pen recess, and raised on compressed ormolu bronze bun feet.
Excellent condition with good bright ormolu .
