An absolutely stunning, very high quality floor-standing 19th century bookcase in mahogany. The open front is flanked by architectural pilasters surmounted by beautifully carved scrolling capitals. There are two mahogany-lipped shelves – both original – which are height adjustable in multiples of 3/4” (19mm). Presented in fine original condition with an untouched finish of great depth and a glowing patina, this wonderful English bookcase, c.1825 – c.1850, represents a fine investment.
