This beautiful Solid Silver Moss Agate box is absolutely charming. It has a gilt interior and the moss agate stone forms the lid which is set in the Silver. Full hallmarks for London 1909 and makers mark for John Evans. The moss agate is very striking and looks stunning when held up to the light.
CONDITION (see photos)
This box is in good condition. The lid opens and closes securely. There are two very minor dings to the outside but they are so small that you have to look for them to notice them. The gilt interior is in good condition. The hallmarks on the base are good and clear, but those repeated on the lid are rather more rubbed (especially the makers mark).
