Bookcase Arts and Crafts Oak C1890

Here we have a wonderful Arts and Crafts Oak bookcase c1890. As you can see the bookcase has super colour and patina. The carefully selected timbers have been quarter sawn to show the lovely medullary rays in the Oak. There is a moulded pediment with two leaded glazed doors below with copper strap hinges. There is a cavity below the doors with peirced sides. The base again made from delicious quarter sawn Oak. There is a single drawer with Oak linings and hand cut dovetail joints and an original copper handle. The side panels are beautifully inlaid with wood and pewter. The cupboard door has copper strap hinges to replicate the top and moulded plinth feet. A super bookcase in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 85 inches high 17.5 deep and 36 wide.
