Edwardian Mellow Mahogany Antique Glazed Bookcase on Cupboard

This Edwardian Mellow Mahogany Antique Glazed Bookcase on Cupboard circa, 1910 is of lovely neat proportions. It has an unusual moulded top above two astragal glazed doors with key with working lock and the original unique brass rope twist handle, the interior comprises of three adjustable shelves. The lower section has a rectangular moulded top above two beautifully figured cupboard doors with moulded edges and key with working lock and the interior has one removable shelf. This wonderful bookcase stands on shaped bracket feet and splits into two sections for easy removal. The mahogany has aged to a mellow shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
