A superb solid silver Vesta Case. Almost square in shape and beautifully engraved to the front and the back. The front has an empty round cartouch in the centre. Hallmarks are clearly visible on the front of the lid and also under the lip of the lid: Birmingham 1909, Maker: William Aitken. There is a loop to the left hand side for attaching. The lid opens and closes perfectly and the case is in great condition overall,with no visible dents (see photos).
