Magnificent Victorian Antique Glazed Mahogany Bookcase

Dating from Around 1870 In the Victorian Period This Magnificent Antique Glazed Mahogany Bookcase is of delightful neat proportions. With a rectangular moulded top above four full length glazed doors with moulded edges, scrolled carved corbels and pilasters. Each interior has three adjustable shelves ideal for storing all those collectables. This outstanding piece is full of the charm and character that you would expect to find from a true antique. It stands on a moulded plinth and benefits from maintaining the original backboards. The mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
