Here we have a fine quality Art Deco plum pudding Mahogany bookcase by Leonard Davis c1925. As you can see the bookcase has super colour and patina. Leonard Davis made this bookcase for the firm of E Davis 17 Austin Street London E2 which later became E Davis and Sons Furniture Ltd. There is a domed top with two beautiful astragal glazed doors incorporating a stunning Art Deco sunburst. The bookcase is veneered in beautiful plum pudding Mahogany which has wonderful grain and colour. The top has adjustable shelves and below there are two drawers with handcut dovetails and original stepped handles. The base has two doors and a shelved interior and a base finished with claw and ball feet. There are two original working locks and original keys. A super period Art Deco bookcase of excellent proportions in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 74 inches high 32 wide and 12 deep.
