Description

A pair of Regency mahogany waterfall bookcases of small proportions.

These bookcases consist of an architectural pediment with inlaid decoration to the centre and inlaid anthemion designs to each shaped corner bracket - the sycamore inlay would have originally been stained black to replicate ebony but over the years has faded.

The sides and shelves are inlaid with stained sycamore stringing again to replicate ebony and this has also faded over the years.

Each of the bookcases has five graduating shelves for displaying books etc and are supported on bracket feet.

This pair of bookcases are in excellent condition for age, are of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
