Early 20th Century Chinese Elm Bookcase Cabinet

Description

This is an attractive Chinese lacquered elm bookcase dating from the early 20th century. The cabinet is a good quality piece, well constructed with an elegant simplicity to the design. The elm has a lovely colour and good patination and the piece is in excellent condition throughout. This measures 176 cm high 124 cm wide by 45 cm deep. The shelf compartments are 42 cm in depth and 36 cm by 36 cm.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
