A stunning, boxed, matched set, comprising fine solid silver sugar sifter, fully hallmarked Chester 1932 and a fine solid silver cream jug, hallmarked Birmingham 1932. Both with maker's marks: S Blanckensee & Co Ltd.

Both pieces are a stylish design with no engravings and are perfectly proportioned.

The hallmarks on both pieces are clear and crisp, as are the maker's marks.

Both these items are in great used condition. There are some Jeweller's marks lightly etched directly under the hallmarks on the cream jug, however, these are only visible under a magnifying glass and do not detract in any way from the jug (see photos).

The items are in their original box which is also in great used condition with a few small scratches visible. The box is brown leatherette in tortoiseshell colours with a gold-coloured edge. The lid closes perfectly and has two loop fasteners on the front that also work perfectly well.
