VERY ATTRACTIVE SILVER VESTA CASE, HALLMARKED BIRMINGHAM 1919 WITH MAKER’S MARK
A very attractive, solid silver, Vesta case, hallmarked Birmingham 1919, with the maker’s marks: RBS (Rolason Brothers or possibly Robinson Brothers). This is a fine case with elaborate engravings, including a heart shaped cartouch that is empty, (see photos). Clear hallmarks can be seen on the inside of the case just under the lid. The lid itself clicks together firmly and there is a loop to the top for fastening. Overall, an exceptionally stunning case, and an unusual shape.
