Beautifully figured Golden Burr Walnut Edwardian Glazed bookcase

Dating from ca. 1910 this beautifully figured Burr Walnut Edwardian Glazed bookcase / display cabinet is of stunning quality. The top is moulded with a spectacular mirrored burr walnut and cross banded edge. The bookcase has two glazed doors with moulded glazing bars and the interior has two adjustable shelves. It comes with a quality brass key escutcheon, key and working lock and it stands elegantly on cabriole legs. The Walnut is a rich golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
