Oak & Elm Open Bookcase Shelves Display

1900 - 1920
Description

Tall large quality oak & elm open bookcase.

Dates from the early 20th Century and has a lovely mid oak colour.

Solid hardwood construction with a plywood back (possibly later).

This is a lovely piece, which is solid, with no loose joints.

Overall maximum dimensions: 99cm wide, 19cm deep, 153cm high.

Fixed shelves 93cm wide, 16.5cm deep (26cm high space above each).

Just a few historic extinct woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure. Slight distortion in a couple of the shelves, but nothing bad and adds to the charm.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations.
