Description

Victorian Figured Walnut Cupboard Base Bookcase with Ormolu Mounts. The stepped cornice with shaped frieze having central inlay. The pair of glazed doors having stringing as have the flanking stiles which have double stringing and ormolu mounts top and bottom. The velvet lined interior having 3 adjustable shelves. Thick half round moulding to lower edge sitting on the base which has a half round moulded edge. Shaped frieze below again with inlaid central panel. The panelled doors below with strung frames and ormolu mouidins framing the panels which have inlaid bandings with 'Greek Key' corners. The stiles again with ormolu mounts. The velvet lined interior having one shelf. All on plinth base with ebonised pad feet.
