Quality Georgian Golden Oak Antique Glazed Bookcase On Chest

Dating From Around 1800 In The Georgian Period This Quality Golden Oak Bookcase is a True Quality Piece. With a deep moulded cornice above two glazed doors with key with working lock, the interior has three adjustable shelves with fascinating inner paper lining. The lower section comprises of two over two graduating drawers with beautiful mahogany cross banding and turned mahogany handles. This wonderful antique stands on shaped bracket feet and splits into two sections for easy removal. The Oak has aged to a golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
