Description

Inlaid Edwardian Mahogany Antique Open Bookcase

This Inlaid Mahogany Antique Open Bookcase dates from around 1900 in the Edwardian period. It has a rectangular top above a frieze with satin wood crossbanded edges and boxwood and ebony string inlay. This super open bookcase has three adjustable shelves and stands on shaped bracket feet with a central shaped apron. The mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Height:114cm / 45 inches

Width:107cm / 42 inches

Depth : 28cm / 11 inches
