Regency Rosewood Circular Library Bookcase

Description

An attractive, unusual and useful Regency period free-standing CIRCULAR BOOKCASE in good original condition.

The well-figured circular rosewood top features a gilded pierced gallery all around below which are three shelves fitted with false tooled leather book spines which allow the books to be displayed in the apertures between. It is supported on three carved and gilded "Lion's Paw" feet and measures 32.5ins high and 20ins diameter (82.5 x 51cms)
