Description:

Here is a very good quality antique Edwardian mahogany revolving bookcase, circa 1900, in excellent original condition. The moulded top sits above a two-tier structure, which offers generous storage, and display opportunity for your books and magazines on both levels. Three vertical slats support the two tiers. Inside the bookcase are lovely refined turned spindles for decorative appeal. Further below, the base is finished with a matching moulding similar to the top. The bookcase sits on its original stand and steel castors and the stand can rotate 360 degrees.

This item features a rich mahogany colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

This bookcase is in excellent original condition. There are no marks, splits or stains to the top of the bookcase. The shelves and slats are free from brakes or any other damage (which is common these types of bookcases). The bookcase retains its original castors and working mechanism. It stands solid and rotates 360 degrees. As the bookcase boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.
