This Wonderful Victorian Oak Antique Open Bookcase is full of the charm and character that you expect to find from a true antique and dates from around 1890. It has a beautifully figured top above two adjustable shelves, perfect for storing all those books. This charming bookcase stands on a plain plinth and has beautifully carved corbels and also benefits from the original backboards. The Oak has aged to a warm golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
