With Lovely Unusual Small Proportions, this Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Antique Bookcase On Cupboard circa, 1910 has a moulded cornice with intricate decorative pear drop motifs, above two astragal glazed doors with key with working lock. The interior has three adjustable shelves.
The two cupboard doors, again feature the lovely boxwood and ebony string inlay and have the key with working lock and moulded clash mould. The interior has one adjustable shelf and this wonderful piece has a shaped apron and stands on shaped bracket feet, it also splits into two sections for easy removal. The Mahogany has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
