This striking piece has a small moulded cornice above two glazed doors with key with working lock and moulded edges. The interior comprises of three removable shelves. The lower section has a unique cylindrical front with the original turned handle. The interior has a pull out slide with three writing inserts, several pigeon holes and four small drawers with striking birds eye maple fronts. This superb piece has two cupboard doors with moulded edges again with key with working lock and the interior has one fixed shelf. It stands on a plain plinth and splits into two sections for easy removal. The mahogany has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
