This large, impressive oak bookcase is decorated with aesthetic period motifs and original brass handles.
In exceptional condition, the top section has nine adjustable shelves, each shelf has a folding dust strip, all original but could easily be removed.
The multi spindled cornice sits high above the bookcase.
The bookcase base has three drawers over two central doors with two open bookcase sections flanking them.
All the drawers are lined in mahogany and all run smoothly, the backboards are paneled pine and the bookcase stands on fan shaped feet. The bookcase splits into two sections at the waist.
A superb, unusual antique oak bookcase, perfect for a library, office or hall way.
