Magnificent Victorian Break Front Burr Walnut Antique Library Bookcase

This Magnificent Victorian Break Front Burr Walnut Antique Library Bookcase circa, 1860 has been constructed from striking burr walnut which is extremely rare and unique. It has a moulded break front cornice above three glazed doors with decorative beaded edge and elegant carved corbels, sitting on pilasters. Each interior benefits from four adjustable shelves. The lower section of this amazing bookcase has a break front moulded top above three beautifully figured cupboard doors with beaded edge again with elegant scrolled corbels sitting on pilasters. Each interior has one removable shelf and it sits on a plain break fronted plinth. You would certainly be bowled over by the magnificence of this wonderful bookcase and it also splits into several sections for easy removal. The Burr Walnut has aged to a wonderful golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
