Solid Silver Japanese Imperial Presentation Vase

Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this large Japanese Imperial silver vase , this simple Japanese taste vase is made from solid silver and houses an onlaid gold imperial mon to the front elevation, the vase would probably have been given as a presentation gift from one of the Imperial households of the Meiji period , weighing in at almost 40 ounces (1226 gms) this is a fine quality scarce object for your collection.

The condition is lovely with no dinks or dents and just a few light scratches , hallmarked to the underside.
