As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this nice quality Chinese solid silver cake or fruit basket from the late 19th century , this shaped basket is finely decorated with birds amongst bamboo against a hammered background with a plain centre inside a starburst effect border , a nice fold over swing handle for carrying and a silver stepped base with further pierced bamboo design make this an ideal table centre or useful basket, signed to the underside.
The condition is lovely throughout !
