This Magnificent Quality Antique Glazed Bookcase dates from around 1870 in the Victorian period and has been constructed from the finest quality mahogany timbers, designed and built by a true Victorian craftsman.
The interior has three adjustable shelves and the sides on this spectacular bookcase have a decorative carved floral motif above an elegant moulded scrolled pilaster. It stands on an inverted brake front moulded plinth. The mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
