The interior of this wonderful bookcase has a central fixed shelf and two adjustable shelves. This super antique stands on squared legs with scrolled carved corner brackets. It also has an old retailers / restorers label Muirhead Moffat and Co, Glasgow which is a unique addition to this piece. The mahogany has aged to a medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
