Beautifully Figured Walnut Victorian Antique Bookcase

This Beautifully Figured Walnut Victorian Antique Bookcase circa, 1870 is of lovely neat proportions and full of the charm and character that you can expect from a true antique. It has a moulded cornice above two beautifully figured doors with moulded edges and key with working lock. The interior of this fantastic bookcase has three adjustable shelves. The lower section has a moulded mahogany lined frieze drawer with two beautifully figured cupboard doors with arched mouldings again with key with working lock. The interior has one fixed shelf and the base has two elegantly carved corbels. It stands on a plain plinth and splits into two sections for easy removal. The Walnut has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
