Birmingham 1912. Lovely Pair of Silver Salt Tubs with Blue Glass Interiors. William Aitken
These lovely Silver Salt tubs are fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1912. The hallmarks are crisp and clear on both although the makers marks on both are slightly worn but still very legible. They feature a removable blue glass interior and each tub sits upon 4 round feet.
Each tub weighs approximately 24g (48g together) with the blue glass interiors removed. Overall the condition of both of these is very good. There is a small dink on one of the tubs on the rim and another has a tiny ding on the front. Both blue glass interiors are in very good condition, although one has one small dink in the bottom of the glass and slight rubbing on the corner of the rim. Apart from those mentioned, these are both in very good condition.
Each Salt tub measures approximately 6.6cm x 4cm and stands at 3.4cm.
