Victorian Silver Toast Rack, Hallmarked London 1898, Maker Charles Boyton
An elegant Victorian Wire-frame toast rack.
Here we have a very nice Victorian wire frame toast rack. It is of oval form with tapering ends and a circular handle atop. The toast rack sits of four ball and claw feet and is fully hallmarked on the underside for London 1898, and bears the makers mark for Charles Boyton.
The item is in very good overall condition with no dents, or damaged to either the item, there is some slight evidence of solder on the feet, so it is possible that the have been repaired at some point. The hallmarks are lovely and clear and overall the piece is very nice.
The toast rack measures approx. 12.5cm in overall length
A very attractive and useable little item.
