Large Victorian Solid Walnut Antique Bookcase On Cupboard

This Large Victorian Solid Walnut Antique Bookcase On Cupboard is a fine example of the work of a true Victorian craftsman circa, 1880. The top section has a moulded cornice above two glazed doors with the original bevelled glass, moulded edges and the original brass handles. Each interior has four adjustable shelves . The lower cupboard section has a rectangular moulded top above two drawers with bevelled edges and original brass handles. The two cupboard doors have decorative raised fielded panels. The interior has one fixed shelf and stands on small turned feet. This super antique splits into three sections for easy removal. The Walnut has aged to a rich warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
