This Edwardian Walnut Astragal Glazed Antique Bookcase dates from circa, 1900 and has a small raised back with rectangular top sitting above two astragal glazed doors with the original brass handle and key with working lock. The interior of this lovely bookcase has three adjustable shelves and it stands on four tapering legs with spade feet and benefits from the original backboards. The walnut has aged to rich warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing
