Victorian Silver Box Deakin & Francis Birmingham 1876

This lovely Victorian silver box is decorated with repousse floral patterns and has an absolutely stunning gilt interior. It is in great condition and is fully hallmarked Birmingham 1876 and bares the makers mark of Deakin & Francis.

The lid features a vacant cartouche and it closes securely. The hallmark is located on the base of the box and these are clear and legible with only part of the D slightly worn. Baring in mind the age of this piece the condition is really rather outstanding.

The box weighs 74g and measures approximately 10.3 x 5 x 3.4cms.

All in all this is a beautiful Victorian silver box and would make a fabulous Christmas present and would grace any Silver collection.
