Description

A stunning high quality late Victorian/early 20th century open bookcase in mahogany. This beautiful and most useful piece of furniture, so appealing for being of a plain and understated design, is comprised of a protruding straight-moulded cornice over a single open compartment containing six full-width adjustable mahogany-lipped shelves. It has a simple plinth base support and softwood backing boards. Excellent timbers throughout with a rich finish and a soft lustre shine. This wonderful bookcase is English, and it dates from 1880s – 1900s
