Fine Quality Large Regency Antique Mahogany Bookcase

This Fine Quality Large Regency Antique Bookcase dates from circa, 1810, this striking bookcase has a moulded cornice above a beautifully figured flamed mahogany frieze with central decorative inlay panel. There are two astragal glazed doors and brass clash mould, each interior has three adjustable shelves. The lower section has a rectangular moulded top above two cupboard doors with moulded edges and beautifully figured flamed mahogany panels again with brass clash mould and key in working lock. The interior has two adjustable shelves. This lovely bookcase stands on raised bracket feet and splits into two sections for easy removal. The Mahogany has aged to a rich medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
